2010 - Covered Bridges of Vermont

During the final days of our 2010 New England tour, we knew we wanted to tour around the state of Vermont.  Other than a handful of geocaching goals, we had no destination in mind.  My mother came up with the brilliant idea that Vermont was known for its covered bridges, so visit covered bridges is just what we did.  We found a handful of covered bridges but the two that stand out were the Mount Orne Bridge located near Lunenburg, VT, and the Scott Bridge, Vermont's longest wooden span bridge, located near Townshend, VT.
